Had oxtail pasta and Prosciutto pizza and both were so good. That makes us to feel curious about other dishes in the menu and definitely we will come back to have them all. The ambient were not that noise that you don’t need to yell to talk. Staffs were also super nice and seemed they were proud of the restaurant’s menu.

Great, authentic Italian cuisine in a wonderful atmosphere. Cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful flavors incorporated into their dishes. The octopus is a must have. The delightful staff will also be happy to explain their dishes and give some recommendations. We had the pleasure of having Marco and Illa help us for our visit. After spending our time dining with them, we will definitely be requesting them for any visit hereafter.

Excellent Italian restaurant with great service. Their Bolognese, creamy fettuccine, and meatballs dishes are great. Very authentic Italian food.

Amazing experience here! The pizza and pastas are phenomenal, and the service can’t be beat. Our waiter surprised us with a free tiramisu one night! Will be back.

Authentic, yummy and fairly priced Italian food. Good wines, too. Been there several times with my Italian friends and even they like it. The starters are phenomenal, especially the burrata. Highly recommended!

Get the gnocchi with the pesto sauce. You won't regret it. Actually ..you wont regret getting anything here. It's all so good.

The food was okay, not bad, but not something that deserves the current 4.7 starts. The waiting staff was not as as friendly as you expect in high ranking places. Overall, not recommended at all, there all lots of better places near by. Don't forget to check in on the yelp for free tiramisu if you end up here, but even for large parties it is one tiramisu per table! (It is not stated in the yelp that it is their policy! The waiter informed us about it in a rude tone)

Tried this place for lunch for the first time last week and we were glad we did. Good pasta (but portions are actually too large - most every customer, including us - was taking food home in a box. When I see that happening a lot I know that the portions are larger than they have to be. Yes, I know, some people like to take home the leftovers, but let’s be realistic - leftover pasta isn’t nearly as good as the fresh dish in the restaurant. One other thing that may be improved - add some lighter tomato sauces - like an arrabiata (no meat needed). Those are minor points for improvement and overall we like the place and will go back.

Try the excellent Marocchino+Authentic - Owner is from Rome and uses authentic ingredients. Parmigiana Reggianno ++ Ask for the Calabrian Chile oil. Umami.- Food can be heavy- Pinsa while flavorful was doughy. If only this was thin crust I’d rate it 5 stars.- After experiencing the best of Roma, Bologna and Tuscany, pasta while good, and home made, doesn’t hold a candle to food in Italy. Overall a pleasurable affair. Great service, good coffee, and food that did not disappoint. Check out the pics for cacio pepe, pinsa margherita and porcini truffle ravioli that Illa recommended as her favorites.

The waiter we had was beyond nice! Since I don’t live in the area the waiter made Me and My Dad welcome. The pasta is very thick and delicious, would come here again! Recommend If new to the restaurant or here look for the guy with the name, Marco.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in the city. Delicious pasta always perfectly cooked. Great wine selection and warm attentive service that is so rare in SF these days.

Didn't care much for the cheese thing (my wife liked it) but I loved the oxtail pappardelle (I love my pasta thicc) and had a few bites of my wife's mushroom ravioli. The ravioli flavour was strong and delicious. Dunno if it would be too strong for an entire meal though - I was just sneaking raviolis off her plate a half at a time throughout the night.

This place is ah-mazing! Wonderful service and great food! I probably eat out 3 times a week and this place is one of the best restaurants I've been to.

Food is so good and so fresh. Service is great as well. Hope to keep some room for dessert next time

This is a great little neighborhood Italian restaurant. Seems like the owners or at least the manager and employees are Italian and provide a friendly service. Foodwise, it's authentic and fresh. We really liked the pastas and pizzas, and also the calamari. Note that the restaurant does not take reservations, but it doesn't appear too busy for weekend lunch.

The pasta was really good. We went to have lunch and the prices were decent, I think during the night it can get a bit expensive. The carbonara was so good.
